The most logical place to find business advice and guidance is surely your local Chamber of Commerce. These organisations are both local in their availability and knowledge yet also have a regional, and through the British Chamber of Commerce, national influence, coverage and voice.
The Chamber is ideally placed to provide networking opportunities galore and business support for both new and growing businesses. The assistance in International Trade matters is also invaluable, both in terms of documentation and introductions to new market places.
Chambers of Commerce have been delivering advice and assistance to businesses for decades and are best placed to continue to do this. Government needs to focus its efforts on one source, and that rightly should be the Chamber of Commerce movement.
